Signs?

What's the deal with this circular contrail? It appeared in the sky SW of Tilbury yesterday, just before Gordon arrived home from work. He called me outside and I decided to grab a shot. Did somebody do some high-altitude doughnuts? Mt. Rainier blowing smoke rings? Hm...
