Nah, he's just a distillation of a class of "characters", with whom I'm sure you are well familiar. "I want to do equestrian stuff!" "Great....what exactly does that mean?" Person "volunteering" has starry dreams of riding a manly charger and impressing the girls/guys (or whatever)...without actually owning a horse of their own. At some point I'll do the "you EQ people are just elitist?" strip.
